We are currently offering the following short courses in a few countries. These courses have been developed based on our exciting collection of learning resources, which uses storytelling as a tool for instruction in literacy, numeracy and the natural and social sciences. 

Language Courses

Literacy for Beginning Readers
Uses storytelling and other interactive activities to teach phonological skills and foster a love for reading. Suitable for pre-school and early primary students.

Comprehension for Thinking Readers
Uses storytelling and other interactive activities to teach reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. Suitable for students who have attained basic reading fluency. 

Creative Expression for Writers
Uses storytelling and other interactive activities to teach creative writing skills. Suitable for students in the middle to upper primary years.

Oral Expression for Public Speakers
Uses storytelling and other interactive activities to teach public speaking and presentation skills. Suitable for students in the upper primary years.

Resilience for Winners
Resilience and grit - the ability to bounce back from hardship and to persevere through challenges - is being found to be the key predictor for success in school, the workplace, and life in general. This program uses storytelling and other interactive activities that will help young children develop resilience and grit. Suitable for children aged 5 and above. 

Kindness for Leaders
Creating a culture of kindness in schools is a pro-active and effective way to prevent bullying and to increase the psychological and emotional wellbeing of students. This program uses storytelling and other interactive activities to explore themes that will allow students to resist peer pressure and to act in ways that are principled, just and compassionate.  Suitable for children aged 5 and above. 

Mindfulness for Achievers
The capacity for mindfulness is a key determiner of a student's wellbeing and academic success. This program uses storytelling and other interactive activities to explore themes that will allow students to combat anxiety and stress, as well as to maintain focus and concentration on tasks and goals. Suitable for children aged 5 and above.
